History[]
George Butz erected a grist mill along Nancy Run (a tributary of the Lehigh River) in 1806 and, after a number of homes were built nearby, the place became known as Butztown. R.T. Schweitzer later purchased the mill on the Nancy Run, which stood near the Butztown Hotel, which became the Keystone Pub in 2000.[3]
