Crystal Lake (2016 population: 61) is an organized hamlet within the Rural Municipality (RM) of Keys No. 303 in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.[2] It is also recognized as part of a designated place by Statistics Canada.[1] The organized hamlet (Crystal Lake part A) is on the majority of the shores of Crystal Lake,[3] 1.0 km (0.62 mi) west of Highway 9 and approximately 70 km (43 mi) north of the City of Yorkton. The second part of the designated place (Crystal Lake part B) is on the balance of the shores of Crystal Lake within the adjacent RM of Buchanan No. 304.[4]

Organized Hamlet of Crystal Lake (Crystal Lake part A)[]

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Crystal Lake recorded a population of 61 living in 29 of its 131 total private dwellings, an 17.3% change from its 2011 population of 52. With a land area of 0.74 km2 (0.29 sq mi), it had a population density of 82.4/km2 (213.5/sq mi) in 2016.[1]

In the 2011 Census of Population, Crystal Lake recorded a population of 52, a 18.2% change from its 2006 population of 44. With a land area of 0.74 km2 (0.29 sq mi), it had a population density of 70.3/km2 (182.0/sq mi) in 2011.[5]

Crystal Lake part B[]

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Crystal Lake recorded a population of 31 living in 18 of its 61 total private dwellings, an 40.9% change from its 2011 population of 22. With a land area of 0.46 km2 (0.18 sq mi), it had a population density of 67.4/km2 (174.5/sq mi) in 2016.[1]

In the 2011 Census of Population, Crystal Lake recorded a population of 22, a -26.7% change from its 2006 population of 30. With a land area of 0.46 km2 (0.18 sq mi), it had a population density of 47.8/km2 (123.9/sq mi) in 2011.[5]
