Horní Smržov is a village and municipality (obec) in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 3.9 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi), and has a population of 136 (as at 2 October 2006).

Horní Smržov lies approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) north of Blansko, 47 km (29 mi) north of Brno, and 164 km (102 mi) east of Prague.
