Lažany is a village and municipality (obec) in the Blansko District of the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 2.59 square kilometres (1.00 sq mi), and has a population of 349 (as of 28 August 2006).

Lažany lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Blansko, 19 km (12 mi) north of Brno, and 174 km (108 mi) southeast of Prague.
