Kuiper is an impact crater in the Phaethontis quadrangle of Mars, located at 57.4°S latitude and 157.3°W longitude. It is 82 kilometers in diameter. It was named after Dutch–American astronomer Gerard Kuiper, and the name was approved in 1976.[1]
