Lemešany (Hungarian: Lemes, Rusyn: Лемешані) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
History[]
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1289.
Geography[]
The municipality lies at an altitude of 231 metres and covers an area of 9.2 km2 (3.6 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1]
Population[]
It has a population of about 1,958 people (2020-12-31).[2]
