Location of Prešov District in the Prešov Region.

Lúčina (Hungarian: Hüvész) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

History[]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1787.

Geography[]

The municipality lies at an elevation of 495 metres (1,624 ft) and covers an area of 1.88 km2 (0.73 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1]

Cultural[]

Lúčina is also the name of the based in Cleveland, Ohio. They perform authentic Slovak dances from different regions of Slovakia.
