Machaeroidinae ("dagger-like") is a subfamily of extinct carnivorous sabre-toothed eutherian mammals from Asia and North America.[3] Traditionally classified as hyaenodonts, this group is now classified as a member of the family Oxyaenidae.[4][5][6]
