Matamoras, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania

Matamoras is an unincorporated community in Halifax Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania in the Harrisburg-Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area, the latitude is 40.440, and the longitude -76.933, its elevation is 577 feet (176 m).

Matamoras was named after the Mexican city of Matamoros, the scene of a battle in the Mexican–American War.[1]
