Swatara is an unincorporated community in Derry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, near Hershey in the Harrisburg-Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area. Its elevation is 417 feet (127 m). Coordinates: 40°16′37″N 76°39′58″W / 40.277°N 76.666°W / 40.277; -76.666

The community is also known as Swatara Station. It is the site of the historic Curry & Son’s Mill, built in 1858.
