National Route 81 (N81) is a 34.6-kilometer (21.5 mi), east-west primary[1] route which forms part of the Philippine Highway network in Cebu connecting the cities of Naga and Toledo.[2][3] Two roads form the route, namely: and (from Toledo to Uling).[4]
When the highway routes were assigned in 2014, The segment of Cebu−Toledo Road Wharf Road from Barangay Lutopan to Poblacion except Toledo Port and Naga−Uling Road were assigned as N81.
Route Description[]
Toledo to Uling[]
The route starts as Cebu–Toledo Wharf Rd at the intersection of Cebu–Toledo Wharf Road () and Toledo−Pinamungahan−Aloguinsan−Mantalongon Road () in Toledo as the logical continuation of the latter. It then turns east at its intersection with Toledo-Tabuelan-San Remigio Road (N820) towards the mountainous terrain of Cebu Island.
Uling to Naga[]
At its intersection with N825, where Cebu–Toledo Wharf Road continues, N81 becomes known as Naga–Uling Road. It then makes a junction with the southern terminus of the under construction Metro Cebu Expressway.[4][5] The route meets its southern terminus at Natalio Bacalso Avenue (N8) in Naga.[4]
