BH Eurosong 2002 was the national final organised by PBSBiH in order to select Bosnia and Herzegovina's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2002. The show took place on 23 February 2002 at the FTV studios in Sarajevo, hosted by Segmedina Srna and Mladen Vuković and broadcast on BHTV 1 as well as streamed online via the broadcaster's website pbsbih.ba.[1]

115 valid submissions out of 170 were received by PBSBiH after the broadcaster opened the submission period for artists and composers to submit their entries. An eight-member selection committee selected fifteen entries for the competition. The selection committee consisted of Milorad Kenjalović (Dean of Academy of Arts at the University of Banja Luka), Dragan Džidić (Melodije Mostara director), Elmir Rekić (Festival Bihać director), Ismeta Dervoz (FTV Eurovision 2002 executive producer), Miroslav Maraus (Head of Delegation for Bosnia at the Eurovision Song Contest), Sinan Alimanović (PBSBiH music director), Vasilije Pokrajčić (RTRS music director) and Luka Sekara (professor).[2] The selected entries were announced on 11 January 2002.[3]
The final took place on 23 February 2002. Eighteen entries participated and the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, the top five entries were selected by an eight-member jury panel to proceed to the second round. In the second round, "Na jastuku za dvoje" performed by Maja Tatić was selected by an alternate three-member jury panel as the winner. The jury in the first round assigned scores to each entry ranging from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) and the alternate jury in the second round awarded 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 points to their top five entries.[4]
On the night of the contest Maja Tatić performed 15th in the running order, following Denmark and preceding Belgium. At the close of voting, Bosnia and Herzegovina received 33 points placing joint 13th (with Slovenia and Belgium) out of 24 entries.[5]
