Peroxynitrate

Peroxynitrate (or peroxonitrate) refers to salts of the unstable peroxynitric acid, HNO₄. However, no solid salts are known.^[1] Peroxynitrate is unstable and decomposes to nitrate and dioxygen.^[2]
