From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Peroxynitrate (or peroxonitrate) refers to salts of the unstable peroxynitric acid, HNO4. However, no solid salts are known.[1] Peroxynitrate is unstable and decomposes to nitrate and dioxygen.[2]
