The Rural Municipality of Lakeside No. 338 (2016 population: 415) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 10 and SARM Division No. 4. It is located in the east-central portion of the province.

The RM of Lakeside No. 338 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910.[2]

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Lakeside No. 338 recorded a population of 415 living in 141 of its 154 total private dwellings, a 7.2% change from its 2011 population of 387. With a land area of 636.8 km2 (245.9 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.7/km2 (1.7/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the RM of Lakeside No. 338 recorded a population of 387, a -12.8% change from its 2006 population of 444. With a land area of 636.8 km2 (245.9 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.6/km2 (1.6/sq mi) in 2011.[7]

Government[]

The RM of Lakeside No. 338 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Thursday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Arnold Boyko while its administrator is Julie Knafelc.[3] The RM's office is located in Quill Lake.[3]
