Samantha Frost (born 4 April 1989) is an Australian actress, television, and radio personality. After winning The Bachelor Australia in 2014, Frost starred in The Bachelorette Australia in 2015. In 2017, she appeared on Hell's Kitchen Australia and joined the cast of soap opera Home and Away as Jasmine Delaney.

Career[]

Frost won the second season of The Bachelor Australia (2014) and later starred in the first season of The Bachelorette Australia (2015).[2][3] From November 2015 to January 2017, Frost co-hosted the 2Day FM breakfast show Rove & Sam with Rove McManus; following poor ratings they moved to a nightly show on 30 January across the Hit Network.[4] In June 2017, Frost's show was cancelled by the Southern Cross Austereo network.[5]

Frost appeared as a contestant on Hell's Kitchen Australia, which aired between August and September 2017.[6] She also joined the cast of Home and Away as Jasmine Delaney, and made her debut on 18 December 2017, which was the 2017 season finale.[7] She received a nomination for the Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent in May 2018.[8]

In 2020, Frost and her sister launched a website called Believe By Sam Frost that focuses on mental health. Frost used the platform to open up about suffering with depression.[9] Frost also took part in , which follows 15 celebrities who strip to raise awareness for men's and women's cancers.[10]

In October 2021, Frost faced widespread public scrutiny for a video she produced detailing her refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine, and for comparing the public backlash she faced to "segregation".[11] After Channel Seven made vaccines mandatory for all of its staff, Frost stated that she would get vaccinated following a medical procedure in January.[12] On 17 December 2021, Channel 7 announced that Frost had decided to leave Home and Away permanently.[13]
