Saran (French pronunciation: ​[saʁɑ̃]) is a commune in the Loiret department in north-central France.

Saran has, considering its size, many sports facilities including two stadiums, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, one swimming pool and four gymnasiums.[citation needed]
