Ísafjarðarbær (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈiːsaˌfjarðarˌpaiːr̥]) is a municipality of Iceland in the Westfjords region, created in 1996 from , , , , and .
Geography[]
The principal settlement is Ísafjörður, others being Hnífsdalur, Flateyri, Suðureyri and Þingeyri.
