Bláskógabyggð (About this soundpronunciation  [ˈplauːˌskouː(ɣ)aˌpɪɣθ]) is a municipality located in western Iceland. Its major settlements are and Laugarvatn. The municipality was formed in 2002 after the merger of Laugardalshreppur, Biskupstungnahreppur and Þingvallahreppur.
