Brežany (Hungarian: Sárosbuják) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

History[]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1329.

Geography[]

The municipality lies at an altitude of 390 metres and covers an area of 3.3 km2 (1.3 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1] It has a population of about 199 people (2020-12-31).[2]
