Kantō Railway (関東鉄道, Kantō Tetsudō) is a private railway company, which operates two lines in Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan. The company is a subsidiary of Keisei Electric Railway and other companies. Besides, the company has a bus department in Ibaraki Prefecture and Chiba Prefecture in Japan.

Outline[]
Kanto Railway is also a bus company which has areas in South and Center area of Ibaraki and East area of Chiba, and the bus department occupies 70% of benefits on the Kanto Railway. The company has ten offices and the service distance is 2,788.8 km.
The bus department used to have vast bus routes, the department had given the subsidiary bus companies low benefit bus routes, and the company discontinued the bus routes which were not making a profit. At present, discontinued bus routes are revived as community buses that are operated by subsidiary bus companies (Kantetsu Green Bus, and ) in areas of Sakuragawa, Chikusei and more places.
Areas that the company occupy have many tourist attractions (Mount Tsukuba, Lake Kasumigaura, Kairakuen and so on) and many commercial facilities (Ami Premium Outlet, AeonMall Tsukuba and more) and bed suburb of Tokyo (Tsukuba).
Besides, when a lot of events are held in Ibaraki, the company operates extra bus routes for Ibaraki Airport, Kashima Soccer Stadium and other places.
There are stores at Mito Station (Ibaraki), Tsuchiura Station, Toride Station, Moriya Station, Tsukuba Station, Suigō-Itako Bus Terminal and more place, tickets can be purchased. Furthermore, there are ticket machines at University of Tsukuba and Tsukuba Center.
