Line 5 is a west–east line of Suzhou Rail Transit. It opened on June 29, 2021. The line is 44.1 kilometers long.^[1] Its western terminus will be at Taihu Xiangshan station^[2] in Wuzhong District, with its eastern terminus at Yangchenghu South station^[2] in Suzhou Industrial Park.^[3] 50 six car type B fully automated subway trains were ordered for the line.^[4]
