Manětín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈmaɲɛciːn]; German: Manetin; older Memeting[2]) is a town in Plzeň-North District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,200 inhabitants. It lies some 30 km (19 mi) to the north from the region capital of Plzeň. The historical town centre and centre of its part Rabštejn nad Střelou are well preserved and both are protected by law as two urban monument zones.
