Velečín (German Weletschin) is a village and municipality (obec) in Plzeň-North District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 5.24 square kilometres (2.02 sq mi), and has a population of 57 (as at 3 July 2006).

Velečín lies approximately 37 kilometres (23 mi) north of Plzeň and 73 km (45 mi) west of Prague.
