Potassium argentocyanide is a white solid used in silver plating, as a bactericide, and in the manufacture of antiseptics.[1]

It is manufactured by adding silver chloride to a solution of potassium cyanide.

AgCl + 2KCN → AgK(CN)2 + KCl
