Yuzhnoukrainsk (Ukrainian: Южноукраїнськ) is a city in Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine. It is incorporated as a city of oblast significance. Population: 39,048 (2021 est.)[1]
Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP is located near the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, approximately 350 kilometers (over 200 miles) south of the capital Kyiv. This nuclear power station has three VVER-1000 reactors and a net achievement of 2,850 megawatts (MW). It is at present the second largest of the five nuclear power stations in the country.

Yuzhnoukrainsk was founded in 1976. It's one of youngest of Ukrainian towns.
