Číčenice is a municipality and village in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 500 inhabitants.

Číčenice lies approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) south-east of Strakonice, 28 km (17 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 105 km (65 mi) south of Prague.

The first written mention of Číčenice is from 1335.[2]

The Číčenice railway station is an important junction of railroads České BudějovicePlzeň and Týn nad VltavouVolary. There is also Újezdec u Číčenic railway station of local importance.
