Široký Důl (German: Breitenthal) is a village and municipality (obec) in Svitavy District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 5.95 square kilometres (2.30 sq mi), and has a population of 364 (as at 28 August 2006).

Široký Důl lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) west of Svitavy, 46 km (29 mi) south-east of Pardubice, and 135 km (84 mi) east of Prague.
