Anakapalle district is a proposed district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Proposed on 26 January 2022, it would become one of the resultant twenty six districts in the state once a final notification is issued by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The administrative headquarters are proposed to be setup at Anakapalle. The district would be formed from Anakapalle revenue division and Narsipatnam revenue division, both divisions partitioned from Visakhapatnam district.[1][2]
