Konaseema district is a proposed district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. With Amalapuram as its administrative headquarters, it was proposed on 26 January 2022 to become one of the resultant twenty-six districts of the state once a final notification is issued by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The district would be formed from Amalapuram and Ramachandrapuram revenue divisions from East Godavari district.[1][2]
