Brandýs nad Orlicí (Czech pronunciation: [ˈbrandiːs ˈnat orlɪtsiː] German: Brandeis an der Adler) is a small town in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,300 inhabitants. It lies on the banks of river. The centre of the town is historically significant and is protected by law as Urban monument zone.
