Mladkov (German: Wichstadtl) is a market town in the Ústí nad Orlicí District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 500 inhabitants.

History[]

Mladkov was first mentioned in 1350. By the 16th century it had a glassworks and in the 19th century was connected to towns by rail. The town, as a part of German-settled Sudetenland, was annexed by Nazi Germany in 1938. After the war the German population was driven out.
