Line 13 of the Shenzhen Metro is one of the four new metro lines of Phase IV expansion under construction in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong.^[2] It is expected to be completed and operational in 2022.^[3] The first phase of the line will be 23 km (14 mi) long and use eight car type A trains with a maximum operating speed of 100 km/h (62 mph).^[4]

Phase 1 (Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint - Shangwu)[]

Phase 1 of Line 13 will run through Bao'an and Nanshan districts with 16 stations.^[4] It will link Shenzhen Bay Immigration Checkpoint to Xili Lake near Shenzhen University.^[5] It will open in 2022.^[6]
