Lipová is a village situated in the Prostějov District, Olomouc Region, Czech Republic. It is named after the linden trees ("lipové stromy" in Czech), which have been present in the village throughout its history up to this day. The village consists of three areas: Lipová, Hrochov and Seč.
Population[]
On November 13, 2006, it had a population of 767, consisting of 98 children under 15, 330 women and 339 men.
On January 1, 2012, 744 were inhabiting the village; 378 men and 366 women with the average age of 42,8 years (41,9 years for men and 43,8 years for women).
