Stařechovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 6.58 square kilometres (2.54 sq mi), and has a population of 542 (as at 28 August 2006).

Stařechovice lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Prostějov, 17 km (11 mi) south-west of Olomouc, and 199 km (124 mi) east of Prague.
