Poldasht county (Persian: شهرستان پلدشت) is a county (Shahrestan) in West Azerbaijan Province in north-western Iran.[1] Its capital is the city of Poldasht. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 38,586, in 8,758 families.[2] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Aras District.[3] The county has one city: Poldasht.
The historical , in the village of Dare Sham, in the Gechlart area of Poldasht, draws tourists and the faithful from Iran and around the world. It was built in the Armenian style during the Safavid era.[4]
