Stará Ves is a village and municipality (obec) in Přerov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 9.31 square kilometres (3.59 sq mi), and has a population of 603 (as at 3 July 2006).

Stará Ves lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Přerov, 30 km (19 mi) south-east of Olomouc, and 235 km (146 mi) east of Prague.
