Velká Chyška is a village and municipality (obec) in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 8.14 square kilometres (3.14 sq mi), and has a population of 315 (as at 3 July 2006).

Velká Chyška lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north-west of Pelhřimov, 43 km (27 mi) west of Jihlava, and 78 km (48 mi) south-east of Prague.
