Districts of Kyrgyzstan

The regions of Kyrgyzstan are divided into districts (raions), administered by government-appointed officials. Rural communities (aiyl okmotus) consisting of up to twenty small settlements have their own elected mayors and councils. The raions are listed below, by region:
