Ratíškovice is a municipality and village in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 4,000 inhabitants.
History[]
Ratíškovice is one of the oldest villages in Hodonín District. First mention about village is from 1131. People in Ratíškovice subsisted by farming, they used to grow especially rye, barley, oat, potatoes, corn, millet and hemp. Many people from Ratíškovice used to work in mines in Dubnany and Milotice.
