Cornillon-Confoux (French pronunciation: [kɔʁnijɔ̃ kɔ̃fu]; Occitan: Cornilhon e Conforç) is a commune of the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It belongs to the West Provence territory of the metropolis of Aix-Marseille-Provence.
Culture[]
Adjacent to the church, the Victory of Ikaria, a sculpture by resident Igor Mitoraj was inaugurated at the end of 2007. It is next to the Virgin mary (symbol of purity), and symbol of the French Republic.
