Ostrovačice (German: Schwarzkirchen) is a market town in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants.
Ostrovačice lies approximately 15 km west of Brno.

Until 1918, the town (bilingual name Schwarzkirchen – Ostrovačice) was a part of the Austrian monarchy (Austria side after the compromise of 1867), in the Brünn (Brno) District, in Moravia.[2] The German name only was used before 1867.
