The State Anthem of the Kirghiz SSR (Kyrgyz: Кыргыз ССР Мамлекеттик Гимни; Russian: Гимн Кыргызской ССР) was the national anthem of the Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic (modern Kyrgyzstan). The music was composed by Vladimir Vlasov, Abdylas Maldybaev and Vladimir Fere, and the lyrics were written by Kubanychbek Malikov, Tulgebay Sydykbekov, Mukanbet Toktobaev, and Aaly Tokombaev.[1][2]

The Kyrgyz, longing for freedom rose,
October's lights the Ala-Too did lit,
the great Russian people warmed us with friendship,
Lenin opened the road to happiness for all of us.

on to Communism's way!

Grown in the exploits of courage and labour
providing happiness to the Soviet people.
