Guiche (French pronunciation: ​[ɡiʃ]; Basque: Gixune; Occitan: Guishe) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in south-western France.

Popular culture[]

The anime/manga Rose of Versailles references Guiche as a dukedom when the "" () plays a role in the story where the Duchess of Polignac engages both of her daughters to be married to him against their will (one of which, Rosalie Lamorlière, plays a central role in the story).

The play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand features a character known as the Count de Guiche who depicts Antoine III de Gramont, a real-life French marshal from Guiche.
