Kněževes is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 7.7 square kilometres (3.0 sq mi), and has a population of 164 (as at 28 August 2006).

Kněževes lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south of Žďár nad Sázavou, 31 km (19 mi) east of Jihlava, and 133 km (83 mi) south-east of Prague.
