Jimramov (German: Ingrowitz) is a market town in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It covers an area of 21.99 square kilometres (8.49 sq mi) and has a population of about 1,100.

Jimramov lies approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 53 km (33 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 139 km (86 mi) east of Prague.

History[]

Jimramov existed in second half of the 13th century, but the specific year of establishment is unknown. The town was ravaged and burned to ground by the Swedish armies during Thirty Years' War.
