Pülümür (Kurdish: Pilemor)[3] is a small city and its surrounding district in Tunceli Province, Turkey. The mayor is Müslüm Tosun (CHP). The city has a population of 1,656. The politician Hüseyin Kenan Aydın was born here in 1962. Also the politician Senol Akkılıç who is a Member of the Provincial Parliament with the Green Party in Vienna, Austria was born in Pülümür in 1965.
