PTI-609

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

PTI-609 is an opioid that binds to the protein scaffolding region of pentapeptide filamin A, which regulates mu-receptor signaling so that their activation should not result in opioid tolerance.

This mechanism also has been shown release inflammatory cytokines. PTI-609 binds with picomolar affinity and activates opioid recepts via a novel binding domain.[1]
