The Yinchuan–Lanzhou high-speed railway is a high-speed railway under construction in China between Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province, and Zhongwei in Ningxia..[1] Construction started in 2017 and is expected to be completed in 2022.[2] The part between Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport and Lanzhou West is the already completed Lanzhou-Zhongchuan Airport Intercity Railway. The line was built in two sections. The first section, a 207 kilometres (129 mi) stretch from Yinchuan to Zhongwei, opened on 29 December 2019.[3]
