Achères (French pronunciation: [aʃɛʁ] (About this soundlisten)) is a commune in the Cher department in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France.

Geography[]

A farming area comprising the village and a hamlet situated some 14 miles (23 km) north of Bourges, near the junction of the D20 and the D940 roads.
