Güçlükonak (Kurdish: Basan)[3] is town a district in Şırnak Province of Turkey.

Güçlükonak was a Yezidi settlement by the early 20th century, but it began being settled by Sunni Kurds of Harunan tribe as its Yezidi inhabitants migrated to Shingal.[4]

In 1995 as the Şırnak Province was governed in a state of emergency, it was the scene of the  [tr] in which 11 men lost their lives.[5] As of January 2020, no person has been charged for the massacre.[6]
